Dang it. We'll be downtown watching "Chicago-The Musical" and hoping the roads don't ice over before we get home. Cold and damp here in Texas-quite a change from the 80 degrees a few days ago!

I checked in, but then took a phone call from an old friend. Didn't get back until folks were leaving.

Small group this month, but work got done and we visited. Present were, oldman, sc-race-fan, Moose, sugarriver and me.

At one point we all were wondering what had happened to our Moose. Tried calling but phone just kept ringing. I understand how hearing from old friends is fun and important. I hate to tell the person on the phone to hold on while I answer this new call. So, I am happy Moose ignored us. She soon checked in to chat and worry wort (me) felt better.

This is a really busy time of year for a lot of us. Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving Day and if any of you guys on the east side of the pond want to come for dinner, give me a call

I was getting ready to pull up the chat Sunday afternoon and the power went flat dead here. Out for 11 hours, with high winds, very cold temps. Ranks up there as one of the most miserable nights I've ever spent, anywhere, and that includes the 11 days we were power-less in January 1998.

Here's hoping December will be a GO!
