Thank you so much for the reminder Libby. We had a small group of 9 'buds. Talk ranged all over the place with a lot of it featuring weather. So many people are experiencing cold, wet, snowy and or icy conditions this month. Interesting to hear the preps made to endure power outages and how to help dogs dealing with ice and ramps. Sand and sawdust help there. Then there is oldman with his 78 degrees in the shade!

Hope everyone has a warm and safe new year. See more of you next month!!!

I might have forgotten someone but at least runaway_sibe, oldman, zoocj, mgfb, Heidi, emwcee, JeanieB, Breeze, Moose and sc-race-fan were present at some time. We are talking about weather, Yukon Quest, iditarod, withdraw and other stuff.

Thanks for the chat. It was really fun. Some of us were watching the live stream from the Beargrease race while we chatted. We got caught up on the latest mushing news - and once again we are amazed at Heidi's wealth of knowledge. I discovered some things I was completely clueless about.

But If I know everything, why didn''t I ever win trivia?

(Actually if memory serves me right, I won it ONCE.) The reality is that I read a lot AND sometimes I chat with people and I learn things.

Speaking of trivia, I will try to host a trivia on Sunday. Topic will be Yukon Quest 2014, Iditarod 2013 and perhaps a question or two from Iditarod 2014.

I log onto the chat like always, see you all there, then a box pops up saying:

"the page at mushing.bssd.org says Type Error: Object#<HTML ObjectElement>has no method 'create'"

If I type 'ok' or close the box, chat goes away. If I don't, I can't type. What's going on?

HELP!
