Had a phone call from Moose a bit ago, her computer is down for the count. Moose is hoping to find someone to fix it. But she warned last time it took several days. She might not be here for chat.

I will not be here this month for chat. Will be on the road home from N.C. Hope you all have a good time and know I will miss you.

I'm back on line! Whoot whoot! But am having a bit of trouble putting things back where I expect to find them. Had a minor heart attack when I couldn't find my photos--all 5,027 of them. Yikes. I finally found them but didn't know how/where I'd found them, and it took me LOTS of time to retrace my steps. Sigh. Just now rebuilding my "favorites" list. BSSD forum is my first stop and first save. :D Lots more to do. Later, 'gators.

Fun chat! We had 9 peeps show up: emwcee, mgfb, mira, oldman, suldalsxpressen, sc-race-fan, luvmy4huskiesn1mal, moose and myself. We enjoyed chatting about Eric's trip (and his upcoming visit to Lincoln), the change of seasons and what we did over the summer as well as exciting(!) upcoming plans, discussed musher encounters we've all had, etc, etc...

We missed YOU, so plan to be here next month on Sunday, October 27th at noon Alaska Time! :)

And a quick reminder.. to mostly myself and other on our side of the pond.

Europe change from daylight saving time to normal time on Sunday. The chat will be at 8pm in UK and 9pm in central Europe, including Norway.

I've changed the time stamps in the subject.

Good chat this month, at least 12 'buds came by to check in and chat. We even had a visit from SuldalsXpressen!
Em reported on Eric's visit, check out the videos she has posted, Eric sounds like he writes. His stories are never ending, it seems.

Europe went back to regular time last weekend, most of USA will go back to standard time this coming Sunday, Nov.3.

Our chat next month is the Sunday before Thanksgiving Day (USA) November 24, hope to see a lot more of you!!

These are the names I remember being in chat: SudalsXpressen, Di, MelanieGouldFanBrian, Moose, emwcee, Breeze, oldman, sc-race-fan, JeanieB, mira and boo. If your name is missed, please chime in and fix the list.

We also talked about what I initially thought was the result of a typo: Trunk or treat! What? I'd never heard of it. But evidently, because of the dangers kids sometimes face on Halloween, in some areas of the country people drive to a designated meeting area, open their car trunks where candy is stashed, and kids circulate among the car trunks selecting candies. Huh. Well, the very next day, as I happened to drive by the local Church of the Nazarene, what did I see on their billboard but an invitation to a Trunk or treat party. Sebago just may be catching up with the rest of the country. :P
