TSFR, please tell us what you have heard about Breeze.
Sounds like a sad story but would like to know what it says.

This was a post from "Moose" in the Facebook Iditabuds group. It was posted July 24th.

Very sad news, 'Buds. Sue Burnham's sister sent me a message yesterday to let me know that our friend "Breeze" passed away Saturday and that Sue's husband David was in the local hospital. Her brief note left me with questions, so I asked her to phone me if she had time and felt like talking. But I haven't heard back. So much to do following a family death, and it's a hard to speak about anyway. That's all I can offer at this time. Please hold "Breezy-Breeze" in your thoughts and prayers, David as well.

A few days later she posted:
Sue could tell a story and make it informative and down-homey at the same time. Besides the race forums and sites, she often commented on stories and reader opinions published by the Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News. I marveled at her memory, knowledge, vocabularly, her expressions, and wit. And remember when Mith had to rehome Spirit? Breeze stepped up without any hesitation and welcomed that handsome and ginormous boy into her home and heart. We didn't get together often enough, and I already miss her virtual and physical presence terribly.

From Sue's (Breeze)FB page: "we built a raised flower bed and laid her ashes in it, she told us she wanted her final resting place at the boathouse steps where she loved the view."
