This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Agreed. I think Ryan is already down to 7 dogs, so we'll see how they do. Nic's liked like they could keep going.

Brent is out of Skwentna. He has 63 miles to go to the finish.
Aaron has 50 to go and Dallas is 38 miles away from the finish.

Next out of Skwentna will be Wade and Mille, in that order and just one minute apart. Places four and five could be very close run.

Actually I'm a bit surprised that Ryan's team is still going this strong, it looked like he was fading a bit and with his number of dogs I expected him to fall back a bit.
I'm also impressed with Nicolas, I know he say he doesn't have a plan, but this year it looks like he has been able to preserve the team better. I like that!
