This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

A fellow just cleaned the snow from the cam lens at the arch. Thank you! Now he is taking down the banners on the sides of the chute
Always makes me angry when they do that and there are still teams on the trail.

This is Nome cam. Now I don't know if it will show you what I just saw, which was almost all the side banners gone.

Yeah.
I read most of the Insider crew and support people have been sent home. Just glad the arch is still up!!

This is from Nome nugget. The rescue of the three, Matt Failor, Sean Underwood and Tom Knolmayer. Two of them were in my TTpicks. So glad they and the dogs are safe!
