Good morning!

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Good morning, Buds. First day I've been able to catch up with the race much. I've popped in and out, but my calendar was full of other things this week. Hoping I can stick a little closer as they move up the coast. Brent is looking good! Hope the long day run didn't take too much out of the team.

I will say that this year the Insider has upped its' game! The videos are better, more and better reporting, using various previous Iditarod veterans to do commentary and interview, and the live show each day, although some of that has been a bit hokey. On the down side, when I have to rely on my cellular hot spot for internet, I can NOT use the tracker. It ate up 4 gigs of data in a day, when I only used it to spot check! I will be at DSL this weekend so hope to catch up.....and hope to catch some of you on chat as well.

I'm here, for awhile.

I'm missing oldman. Does anyone know where he is or what's happening with him?

Good question. Where is that ol' codger (who's younger than I am)?
